Dazzle’s USB Video Adapter Shakes Hands with FireWire Camcorder

Dazzle will be demonstrating Hollywood USB 2.0 video capture adapter at CeBIT 2003 Hannover. Unlike other products in the same category, the Hollywood USB 2.0 captures video from FireWire-interfaced camcorders, converts the video into MPEG-1 or MPEG-2 in real-time using its LSI Logic DoMiNo DMN-8100 codec chip, and streams the it over Hi-Speed USB connection to a computer for editing. In addition, the consumer video capture device can also capture from sources such as analog camcorders, VCR or TV.
