Addonics's $29 USB 2.0 upgrade plan

Before the end of August, the new Addonics USB 2.0 cable is available for [url=http://www.addonics.com/usb2.htm]only $29[/url]. Designed to fit into all Addonics External CD, DVD, DVD/CDRW and hard drive kits, the new cable will able to bump the speed of all storage devices to its full potential. Soon, Addonics USB storage products will ship with USB 2.0 cable, which is also backward compatible with USB 1.1 port.

The PCI card has a list price of $59. The PCMCIA adapter will be list priced at $99. The USB 2.0 cable and the PCI card will be available beginning June 20. The PCMCIA adapter will be available the end of July.

The cable is fully Plug n Play compatible under Windows Me, 2000, XP, and also comes with Window 98SE driver.
