USB Flash Drive Teams up with Webcam

  May 19th, 2004

Just got words from a Taiwanese OEM company today that they have added webcam to a USB flash drive (or vice versa).

The hybrid comes with a braided USB cable for flexible positioning. While the video camera works without the extension cable, the lens would be facing the ceiling all time if it’s hooked to a laptop. Neither function operates at Hi-Speed USB speed. The camera is on par with the resolutions on camera phones at 350k pixels.
