Maxtor OneTouch II – Backups Even Easier

  September 24th, 2004

Maxtor OneTouch II – Backups Even EasierMaxtor has removed all reasons not to backup your data with the release of the OneTouch II. These external 7200-rpm hard drives come fully featured with a 16MB cache and 9ms seek time. They also utilize DriveLock, which password protects your data as soon as the computer is powered down or the drive is disconnected.

The backup process couldn't be easier – just pushing the button on the front of the drive will launch Dantz Retrospect, backing up all your files historically. For Mac users, it can also create a fully bootable backup with all your system files.

The OneTouch II comes in 250 and 300GB capacities, and start at $329.95. Additional capacities will be introduced later this year.
