Philips Brings Voice Controls to DictationThe Digital Pocket Memo 9450 VC is the latest digital dictation unit from Philips, offering enhanced productivity with its use of voice commands. A user can set it up so speaking a patient or client’s number will automatically display the number on the built-in LCD display, and store it in the file header. Other commands such as work type and author can also be used.

The 9450 VC sports 32MB of built in memory for five hours of dictation, and is expandable by MMC or SD cards up to 512MB. The unit is powered by 2 AAA batteries that can be recharged over a USB connection to your computer, and lasts up to 10 hours on a single charge.
