The new MindStor features a built-in RISC processor and 'intelligent' OS; to give users control over their files via USB or Firewire interface. The MindStor will be available in 5, 10 and 20GB sizes, and also include the option for on-board CompactFlash, SmartMedia or Sony Memory Stick readability.
Minds@Work's latest 'smart storage' device features a backlit LCD display, that gives the user information and control over their individual files; with the inclusion of long filename support, file verification, and more.
Expect to see the new MindStor 5, 10 and 20GB 'smart storage' drives in retail stores and online for an MRSP of $329.00, $429.00 and $529.00 respectively.
