DmailerSync – CruzerSync without the Cruzer

  December 9th, 2004

If you’ve been following the SanDisk line of Cruzer flash drives, then you already know about CruzerSync, SanDisk’s bundled software that allows you to synchronize your Outlook notes, contacts, emails and calendars, along with your personal files and Internet Explorer favorites, all without touching the host computer’s hard drive while providing 128-bit file encryption.

What you probably didn’t know is that the CruzerSync application is made by France-based Dmailer, who happens to have an identical product called DmailerSync, and you don’t need a Cruzer-branded flash drive to use it. There’s currently a 30-day trial version available, while the unlimited version costs about $30.
