Kinesis has further interfaced the human body with computers with their Savant Elite Foot Switches, available in two and three pedal configurations with an optional jack for connecting a fourth pedal and hand trigger. Able to enhance workflow by offloading work from the hands to the feet, an obvious use for these would be browser back and forward, however the pedals can also be configured to carry out more complex operations such as phrases and strings of keyboard commands.
Generic driver support is provided for all platforms including Sun systems, although reprogramming is limited to Windows and Mac. Still, we wonder if the same thing can somehow be accomplished with the foot pedals found with many less expensive racing controllers.Filed under Other Input Devices
