Canon Plays Catch-up with High-End MFP

  February 18th, 2005

Canon Plays Catch-up with High-End MFPCanon is aggressively taking on its competitors with the release of their high-end multifunction printer, the PIXMA MP760. This printer can handle whatever you throw at it, with both dye-based and pigment-based black ink cartridges as well as two separate paper trays for quality photo and crisp document printing. Throw away your CD labels, because this can also print onto printable CDs.

A 2.5" color LCD can preview cropped images from the onboard 8-in-1 card reader or from the scanner that has a 35mm film loader. Finally, the printer is also USB OTG capable, enabling transfer of images from directly connected PictBridge enabled cameras. The PIXMA MP760 will be available in March for about $567.
