The new Panasonic SV-MP20 follows the tradition of Japanese style of miniaturization. With this lipstick-sized MP3 player, you'll find a 2-line screen barely large enough for artist and song names, let alone a menu display. So don't expect any extra goodies like photos or video. The LCD still has room for battery status, play mode and the equalizer setting.
While the SV-MP20 isn't look very bright, Panasonic brags the player's DSP can digitally re-master WMAs and MP3s, and that a single AA battery can last a whooping 75 hrs of playback. The lipstick player (also available in pink blue and gray) can hold 2GB of tunes that can be legally obtained from PlayforSure-compliant stores or MP3 rips. It will hit US market on March 2006 with a $149.95 price tag. About Everything USB
