PC Dedicated to USB Flash Disc Duplication

  March 10th, 2005

Belgium-based Crux Projecten has turned a Pentium 4 into a 'USB Memory Device Duplicator' that can copy as many as 11 USB flash drives simultaneously. The device itself resembles somewhat to server rack, but it has 12 USB ports as well as a few buttons on the font side. According to Crux, the duplicator has the following advantages: VCC/ICC margin testing; open/short testing; leakage testing; factory format/download; and remote control through 10/100 BaseT Ethernet.
