Pentax Bumps DSmobile Sheetfed Scanner to 600dpi

Do we need another sheetfed USB mobile scanner? Pentax thinks so since they just has upgraded their DSmobile scanner to 600dpi. The wand-sized unit can scan anything from a business card to 8.5 by 14". Though, the bus-powered USB scanner forgoes the power brick, trimming the entire unit to just 11" long and 1.5" high. The main limitation is that it can't scan books as the DSmobile cannot be changed into a handheld scanner. There isn't a lot of surprises except the Pentax has out of the box Linux and Mac support through a TWAIN driver.
