PogoPlug Pro Gives iPhone / iPad Access to USB Drives & USB Printers
PogoPlug is one of the first 'personal cloud' servers that can share content on a USB hard drive to users with access to web browser or a smartphone. The same adapter - now aptly called PogoPlug Pro - has been upgraded to include much anticipated WiFi (2.4Ghz 802.11n) and also a staid black chassis, lending a more professional image. This addresses the concern that some people might stay away from PogoPlug due to the 'hideous pink look'.

PogoPlug Pro's connectivity options remain the same with Gigabit Ethernet and 4 USB 2.0 ports. One of these USB ports is in the front. You can also use the bundled Windows apps to transfer content from one PogoPlugged USB drive to another. The PogoPlug Pro doubles as a DLNA server so XBox 360, PS3 as well as other networked media players can pull media from the cloud server. Additionally, the aforementioned USB ports can be used to share printers, not just with Windows or Mac but also anyone on the Internet with a password to your PogoPlug Pro server. With the new free app available on Android, Blackberry, iPhone & iPad apps, mobile printing on the said mobile devices is now possible. For all these, PogoPlug Pro has the same $99 price tag as its predecessor.
