Filed under USB Hubs & Peripheral Sharing
This is one of the weirdest USB hubs I have ever seen. I guess it’s trying to capitalize on the Pirates of the Caribbean wave right now. This hub looks like a barrel, and has a bearded and eye patched pirate hiding inside. This pirate pops out of the barrel, like the old children's game, when you put the wrong sword into the wrong slot. On the rear, you will find the business end of the hub, four USB ports. The translation is unusually sketchy from Google today, but it seems that there are sound effects when you shove the swords into the barrel. I guess this is more fun than a plain old USB port and if you are the type with lots of toys sitting on your desk, this will be right up your alley. It's certainly cooler than the engine USB hub.
