Razer Sends out Lycosa Gaming Keyboard; Tarantula Retires

Razer has announced a new gaming keyboard called the Lycosa to add to the gaming keyboard line it started with the Razer Tarantula. (The company's keyboard team apparently digs poisonous spiders.) Anyway, many gamers complained about the lack of backlit keys with the Tarantula and this time around Razer added backlighting to the entire keyboard. Razer also says you can just light the WASD keys as well.

The keyboard features one USB port on the back of the keyboard. Other features include a headphone out and a mic in. The keyboard has non-slip rubber topped keys and the ability to have 10 profiles programmed for on-the-fly switching. A wrist rest is included and can be removes as well. Razer also provided a gaming function that disables the Windows key. The Lycosa measures 469mm x 168mm x 15mm and will be available in November for $79.95
