If you carry sensitive data on your flash drive to and from the office and fingerprint scanning isn’t secure enough for you, Rehoboth Tech has introduced the world’s first iris authentication flash drive. The drive is called the Irikon Flash Memory and has a cool looking design for sure. Three storage capacities are available, 1GB, 2GB, and 2GB. Up to 20 iris templates can be stored to allow access to multiple office workers. The iris scanner draws its power from the USB port and can recognize an approved iris in 2 seconds or less, and the iris can be scanned from up to 6cm away. What’s not clear to me is where the scanner itself is located on the drive, I believe that is it on the rear. It seems you would have to plug the drive in and then scan your iris, so be prepared to crawl on the floor if you don’t have an extension cable with you. About Everything USB
