If the convergence of technology is your thing, then Samsun is seeking to appease your needs. The new i8 camera is also a PMP and has a built-in "World Tour Guide" function. The i8 appears to be a cheaper (albeit slightly gimped) version of the i7 camera but with the MP's bumped up to 8.1. The camera itself features face recognition, digital image stabilization, and ISO 1600 high sensitivity support to ensure that you capture quality pictures while on the go. The 2.7" touch screen LCD is always a welcome addition to any device and should go well with the ability to use it as a PMP with the integrated MP3 player. Since this camera is obviously geared for those that are on the go or traveling, it also comes with 195MB of internal memory so you don't have to worry about running out of space extremely quickly. The World Tour Guide function allows you to access travel information for 2,600 regions in 30 different countries so you aren't always trying to figure out where you should be, but rather know where to go to begin with.
