Samsung is launching today the world's smallest and lightest color laser printer called the CLP-300. The new printer measures in at a mere 15.4" W x 13.5" D x 10.4" H and weighs only 30 pounds. Samsung uses the NO NOIS print engine to keep noise level to 49 dBA and the system uses toner bottles rather than cartridges that are much easier to replace. Print resolution is up to 2400 x 600 dpi and prints black pages at 17 ppm and color pages at 4 ppm. The CLP-300 is rated at a 24,000 page monthly volume making it appropriate for work groups as well. A network ready version is available as well called the CLP-300N. Connectivity is via USB 2.0 and the printer is compatible with Windows, Mac and Linux. Pricing is set at $299 for the CLP-300 and $349 for the CLP-300N. About Everything USB
