Laser printers tend to all be ugly boxy devices with flat black or off white cases that lack anything close to tasteful design. Samsung has announced a new line of printers that will look right at home inside a froufrou office setting. In addition to being clad in shiny, sexy black housings, Samsung also lays claim to the title of world’s thinnest monochrome laser printer with the ML-1630 at only 11cm thick. The printers look a bit like pianos in color and design. Rather than buttons Samsung uses soft-touch sensors to clean up the overall appearance of the printers. To make clearing paper jams easier the printers also use a semi-automatic slide out cassette. No word on print speeds or pricing, hopefully they didn’t overlook those specs for the sake of an attractive design. Samsung SCX-4500
