Cell Phone with a USB Antenna from Samsung?

When I go away for an extended period of time, I always seem to forget my cell phone charger. It seems Samsung has filed a patent for a new USB charging mechanism for their phones. The antenna is also a USB port in the Samsung patent, which sounds really cool. I’m not so sure how well it would work, if you have a heavier phone that would be a lot of weight to hang from the antenna/charger of your phone. Also, if the phone were very thick, it would be difficult to plug the phone into a laptop that is sitting on a desk for example. I also have to wonder if you will give up signal strength for the privilege of needing no phone charger in your overnight bag. Here's another ingenious way to concealing a USB interface with cable into a handset.
