DAPreview.net has a first look at the new Samsung YP-U3 DAP. This is an update to the previous Samsung YP-U2 DAP with the YP-U3 adding a new 4GB capacity and an RDS-capable FM tuner. Capacities for the YP-U3 include the 4GB I mentioned already and a 1GB and 2GB version. The players are compatible with MP3, WMA and Ogg file types and the battery life is a claimed 15 hours. The players measure in at 25.4 x 80 x 11mm. As you can see from the image, you can choose from white, black or baby blue colors. The display is a 1” OLED that from the looks of it crams lots of data onto the tiny screen. The new YP-U3 keeps the odd blue light around the USB connector that the previous generations of the player had. No word on pricing or availability at this time.
