Samsung has taken the pen to the next level, even if their idea of a pen looks more like an MP3 player. In fact, the Samsung YV-150 Voice Pen is an MP3 player capable of playing MP3, WMA and WMA-DRM music and it sports a FM tuner as well. Its core function though is voice recording to internal flash memory with storage capacities of 512MB or 1GB. Spoken voice can be recorded in three modes SP at 32kbps, HQ at 64kbps, and SHQ at 128kbps. A text-to-speech program converts text into MP3 voice so you can listen to a file on the PC after transfer. The pen can work with six languages including Chinese, English, and Japanese. Voice activated recording stops the recording when the subject stops talking and five folders allow you to save recordings and file browse makes saved recordings easier to find. Built-in speakers allow you to listen on the go and playback time is a claimed 20 hours. About Everything USB
