Silverstone Raven Gaming Mouse is Knocking at Your Door

  October 7th, 2008

WE RECOMMEND

The world of gaming mice is populated with some nice offerings from established players like Logitech with its G9 laser mouse and new comers like Nova with its Slider gaming mouse. Yet, newcomers to the gaming mouse genre is growing by one with Silverstone, adding its Raven gaming mouse to the pile. Silverstone will be a familiar name to many gamers and computer enthusiasts as the maker of some top-notch computer cases.

The Raven mouse is attractive to look at with plastic and carbon fiber construction. Connectivity is via USB 2.0, so the mouse is not wireless. This is not a real issue for gamers, who for the most part avoid wireless mice like the plague. DPI sensitivity is adjustable from 400 to 3200 DPI and the mouse weighs 50g. On top of the mouse is a small OLED display that shows resolution information. Hardware Canucks reviewed the rodent and found it worked well, but the huge thumb wheel was easy to turn by accident. A problem with the cursor jumping to the right side of the screen was also noted.
