It’s nice to see SolidAlliance breaking away from nasty looking food shaped USB drives and coming after a different crowd with their latest USB hub. This hub looks like an engine from a motorcycle and even makes a quasi-Harley sound when plugged in for the first few seconds and the cylinder head portion vibrates up and down. Once all the racket stops, you can push the kick-starter down and start the ruckus over again. The shift lever also makes shifting sounds when pressed. The business side of the hub has three USB ports. The motor hub will sell for $43 and is slated to be available tomorrow in Japan. Too bad they didn’t make one of these in a V-Twin config and give it the real Harley look for the American geek. It would also be cool to see them go for a big American V-8 hub as well.
