Several readers have asked about the availability of USB headphones that originate from Japan. After several months, our painstaking search led us to Targus Hong Kong, which is now carrying this nifty audio gadget for HKD $1089 or $140 USD!
The Targus USB headphones (AWM06AP) facilitates wireless audio transmission through its USB dongle that operates at 2.4Ghz in 8 selectable channels. Expect maximum range to be around 30m. There's no word on the headphone material, battery life or the type of battery used.
