Targus USB Keypad Doubles as VoIP Phone

Convergence is a way for a lot of USB products to differentiate themselves in a heavily commoditized market. Take USB keypad and VoIP phone for instance. Either of them can make it Everything USB frontpage unless it is extremely high cool factor. By making a hybrid out of these two, not only manufacturers get their free promotion from us, but also saves some counting for road warriors who already lugs around a dozen or more gadgets. The Targus USB Internet Phone with Keypad with a self-explantory name is a fine example how two down-to-earth devices merge together. Targus's number-pad besides used for inputting numbers in Excel is also a dial pad for the VoIP flip phone. The operator placement seems a little weird as it's not part of the numeric layout. The Targus keypad phone measures 4.6" x 2.2" x 0.8", and looks like only Canadians will get their hands on this.
