You can now get a portable hard drive that has all 80 years of The New Yorker magazine on it. The USB drive holds a whopping 4,164 issues totaling over 500,000 pages of reading starting with the magazines 125 debut to April of 2006. The entire issues are stored digitally on the drive including cover art and all articles, cartoons and such from each issue. An indexing system allows you to find articles that you are looking for. You can print pages from the magazine ads and all just like they were originally printed. Why can’t they do something like this for geeky publications?
