Thermaltake Shows off New Gear to Keep Gamers Cool

  June 14th, 2007

At Computex Thermal take had some new USB powered gear designed to keep gamers cool. One of the products is called simply the Anti-Perspiration Wrist Pad, and it is exactly what it sounds like. A wrist rest with fans inside to keep your hands cool while gaming. The second product is a small fan-less blower that uses a vibrating membrane to produce airflow. The DeskCool would be positioned to blow on your hands while gaming, helping you keep your cool. At this time, there is no word on pricing or availability of these items, but I would expect them to be quite cheap. The point of both of these devices is to keep gamers hands dry, thereby avoiding slippery mice and keyboards. Those of you out there who didn’t know PC gamers break a sweat have never been to a LAN party.
