A camcorder that stored your videos to a hard drive rather than a tape is certainly an appealing item. We have covered the Gigashot GSC-R30/60 camcorder before here on Everything USB. Today we are back with some information on the camcorder from a full review.
The review was performed over at Digital Trends. They rated the camcorder a 7 overall and said the highs were tons of storage, excellent battery life and good software bundle. The lows were too much digital noise, no widescreen LCD, no hot or cold shoe and the lack of a printed owners manual. This quote will give you an idea of what they really though of the device, “The Toshiba gigashot GSC-R30 is clearly Version 1.0 and you should look elsewhere to satisfy your HDD jones..”.More USB Webcams & Digital Cameras
