If the built in Wi-Fi antenna in your notebook computer doesn’t give you the range or speed that you need, TRENDnet is announcing a new USB Wi-Fi adapter today that has 108Mbps speed and improved range and is called the TEW-445UB 108Mbps High Power Wireless USB 2.0 adapter. The adapter has a cable that connects to a high-speed antenna supporting output power of 23dBM. Both 802.11 b/g is supported via the adapter and it uses Wi-Fi Multimedia (WMM) Quality of Service to prioritize traffic based on the users needs. Encryption protocols supported are WPA/WPA2 and advanced WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK. Pricing for the adapter is set at $72.00. About Everything USB
