Most all of us know that one of the most exciting features of Microsoft Vista is the ReadyBoost feature that uses external flash drives to boost the system memory and allow the OS to boot faster. This feature is expected to boost flash drive sales significantly and TwinMOS has had all of their Mobile Disks Vista certified for ReadyBoost. Their certified line includes the Z4, X4, X5, L1, L2, M1, S1, MDIII, and MDIV models. With ReadyBoost flash drives Vista can supposedly reduce the need to access hard drives thereby extending the life of the drive. Kingston is also now selling a Data Traveler with hardware encryption fast enough for ReadyBoost. About Everything USB
