U-S-Blink Custom Made USB Port Flashing Light... But Why?

  November 7th, 2007

WE RECOMMEND

What does a geek with some time on his hands, a flashy sucker, PCB, and a soldering iron do after eating the sucker and looking for something to kill time? He makes a flashing USB powered light so that his USB ports can be all flashy and stuff.

This dude pulled the LED light out of the flashy sucker and soldered it to an old Radio Shack PCB. After all was said and done he had a rough looking, custom flashing super-bright blue Led light to impress the ladies and annoy other users at the next LAN party or business function. They certainly mean super-bright when they say it. This would be a cool use of some Christmas lights to go with your USB snowman too.
