What do you get when you combine a pet toy with a USB hub? Other than chewed cables you get the Soft Hub USB 2.0 in the form of a spiky green rubber ball. The hub is three inches in diameter and has one upstream USB port and three downstream ports. All the USB ports are USB 2.0 compliant and work with both PC and Mac. The design of the hub may make it irresistible for your pets and children though since it looks like toys I have seen for young kids and pets. I never understand why pets and small children tend to like the same types of toys. At any rate the hub will run you $24 and is currently on back order. The only available color is green. This thing is a bit weird looking to me, I would prefer something like the Elecom 3-way hub if all I needed was three more ports. About Everything USB
