USB Data Transfer Device: No more SneakernetWe've seen this somewhere before, but no one seemed to take notice. ThinkGeek is now carrying a USB Data Transfer Device (such a generic product name) that lets you transfer content from a PC to another at 25MB/s.

We reckon a connector is labeled as the 'source' holding the data you want to copy and another USB plug goes into the 'designation' where you want the stuff to go to. We suppose a drive icon of another PC will automatically pop up to allow drag and drop files. The box also has a 4 foot retractable USB cable.

This sort of thing helps to overcome the bandwidth limitations in which network is saturated and USB flash drives aren't very efficient. So that's why ThinkGeek called this is a Sneakernet saver...
