Thanko V2 USB Humidifier & Aromatherapy Device

With winter on its way, the heat will be on in many offices and homes before you know it. Running the heater keeps your home nice and toasty, but it dries the air out too making for dry sinuses. Thanko has a new USB powered Humidifier that claims to be able to humidify the air, which seems similar to other humidifiers we have seen.

The humidifier is powered by your notebook or desktop USB port and it can be powered by AA batteries as well. The humidifier is designed so that the water won’t spill once placed into the device and you can add a drop of scented oil to the humidifier for aromatherapy if wanted. The oil is placed onto a sponge inside the exit cone. I’d be a bit weary of this thing running next to my computer since electronics and dampness don’t go together well. The price is 4,980 Yen or about $43 USD.
