Blue Snowball & Samson USB Mics Compared

  September 8th, 2006

WE RECOMMEND
If you like to record music or podcasts directly to your computer, Macworld has a comparison of the Blue Microphones Snowball and Samson Audio's Co1U USB Studio Condenser Mic. Both mics are USB powered and require no external power source or panels. Which is to say if you prefer routing your mic through an analog mixing panel, you can't do that with either of these mics. The mics are both Mac and Windows compatible. The Snowball is Made form hard plastic, giving it better than a snowballs chance of surviving (couldn't pass that reference up) and the Samson mic is metal. Check out the comparison for full details.
