USB Powered Pentium 1 Cup Warmer

  December 15th, 2006

WE RECOMMEND
USB Powered Pentium 1 Cup Warmer

I think this mod is actually the last useful thing that a Pentium 1 CPU can be used for. Sad really that a few years back this CPU incited geek lust in computer fans everywhere and now it is relegated to warming a mug of coffee whilst the real CPUs do the heavy lifting. It seems that the black and red wires from a USB cable are simply glued onto the CPU back to generate the heat. Alas if you have old CPUs sitting around and want to build your own cup warmer, there are not really any instructions given on how to pull the mod off.
