USB Skin Sensor Makes a Mountain of Dandruff

I have seen some weird and interesting computer peripherals before, but this USB skin sensor is right at the top of the list. If you want to look at your skin, really closely, the skin sensor can make it happen.

The manufacturer of the skin senor has some images of the device in action on their site. The device is a USB-powered magnifying glass that you can use to verify the condition of your skin. Got a dry patch on your forehead and want to see it up close and personal? Want to see your dandruff magnified to the size of an iceberg? You can even save the images for comparison at a later date.

The included software gives a digital representation of a person allowing you to note which part of your body the skin image was from. Magnification levels are 50x and 250x and you can even share the images of your skin online in chat forums thanks to the sensor being recognized as a web cam. Your friends will love that.
