Working on a computer that doesn't use a backlit keyboard in the dark can be nearly impossible since you can't see the keyboard or what you are doing very well. Adding light and a webcam to your computer can be done with one item thanks to the USB SnakeCam with two IR and seven white LED lights. The two IR lights are to allow the 350k pixel webcam to see you in the dark. The seven white LEDs illuminate your keyboard so you can see what you are typing in low light environments. A mic is also built-in for voice and video chats and the flexible neck of the camera allows you to position it to best suit your needs. There is also a snap shot button to allow you to take still shots. The camera sensor is a ΒΌ CMOS and the resolution is 640 x 480 at 15 fps or 352 x 288 at 30 fps. Those serious about their webcams will want to check out the Creative Live! Cam Optia. Pricing for the SnakeCam is $22 and it is available now.About Everything USB
