RoadWarrior - USB Scanner Keeps Records of your Receipts

If you are the always on the go type that needs to keep up with a mass of receipts and business cards, Visioneer has a way to make keeping your records easier. The new RoadWarrior portable document scanner allows you to scan and digitally store business cards, receipts and documents. The included software allows you to attach the digital copies of receipts to your expense reports and the scanned cards can be automatically added to your contacts database on your PC, PDA or smart phone. The scanner weighs in at a mere 10 ounces and measures 2” x 1.5” x 11.4”. The scanner is USB bus powered, and uses auto launch technology to automatically launch the scan application when a document is inserted into the scanner. Scan resolution is 600 x 1200 at 1200dpi and 36-bit color. An agreement with Google also allows the inclusion of Google Desktop and Google Earth with the scanner. MSRP for the device is $199.99 and it is available now.
