Now, we can get duplex (two-sided) scanning in one pass; the scanner incorporates Visioneer's patented AutoLaunch technology that automatically begins the scanning process when a document is inserted into the scanner.
When used in duplex mode, the Strobe XP 300 scans documents at only 6 seconds per image. The Strobe XP 300 is slim and light, measuring only 2" x 2.5" x 12" and weighs a mere 20oz. The XP 300 can be connected to a computer quickly via the Hi-Speed USB 2.0 interface and has a resolution of 600 x 1200 dpi with 48-bit color. The Strobe may be powered through a USB port or via AC wall-power.
The Visioneer Strobe XP 300 comes with Paperport Pro Office, ScanSoft's OmniPage OCR and ArcSoft ScrapbookSuite. Windows ME, 2000 and XP are supported.
