Web Watch - Airbus 380 Evacuation; Glossy Black iMac; P35 Loses PS/2

If you have ever seen how huge the large commercial jet liners, like the Airbus 380 which can hold 853 passengers, you have probably wondered how long it takes to empty in an emergency. Consumerist has a video of all 873 people exiting the plane in 77 seconds. Over at Gear Diary there are some shots of the Euro Samsung SGH-i600 phone that look very cool and a bit of information on the phone. Next up is some info on the black iMac rumored to be popping up soon at Apple stores everywhere from Slashgear. It never fails to amaze me how a simple color change on a Mac can get so many folks all worked up. Last bit of news is something I have been waiting to see for a long time, Intel’s Bearlake mainboards finally kill off the useless and space hogging PS/2 port for the mouse. Yeah, it’s about time I haven’t seen a PS/2 mouse in years, that space would be much better suited to more USB ports. However, it still baffles me that they would drop the mouse PS/2 and keep the one for the keyboard.
