  • PC Magazine has reviewed the HP Blackbird and given the expensive beast a perfect 5 dot rating and an Editors Choice award. Personally I fail to see the point of the machine, the crowd it is aimed at will more likely want to build their own computer.
  • Akihabara News has some information on an expensive Sony HES-V1000 Home Entertainment Server that will sell for $3500 in October. The thing has a 200 disc capacity for Blu-ray games and movies as well as a 500GB hard drive for holding digital video and music.
  • CNN reports that last week six nuclear missiles were accidentally transported from North Dakota to Louisiana. While the Air Force maintains there was no public danger, a massive investigation is taking place and the commander in charge of transporting the missiles has been relieved of duty.
  • Autoblog has posted some videos from Top Gear, the UK dream show for gear heads. One of the videos is of a lucky SOB getting ready to test drive a Bugatti Veyron. The video also shows a small portion of an unreleased Bugatti as well.
  • TweakTown has reviewed the Shuttle SG33G5 SFF XPC computer. In the end they decide that it’s a decent enough media center rig, but they aren’t sure where it fits into the market.
  • Secret Notes says that the iPod Hi-Fi went the way of the Dodo yesterday when Apple announced the new line of iPod’s. A few other Apple products were also redesigned like the Nano Armband that was enlarged to work with the new Nano.
