X-Keys USB Macro Key Speed Dialer

  June 5th, 2007

X-Keys USB Macro Key Speed Dialer

We must say the X-keys Stick is intended for people who don't bother remembering even one shortcut combo, but picture doesn't do this speed dialer any justice. The X-Keys, if you do intensive macro key programming, can record any commands from a keyboard and assign it to one of the 16 keys. It can also save mouse commands which maybe somewhat useful depending on your applications.

We wonder how this may work with RTS games in which early part of the game is just a race of whoever builds stuff the fastest, which imply we can just assign a bunch of keys that let the X-Keys do the hard work of ramping up our arsenal and armies. Though, PI Engineering feels like this would be much more useful to a graphic designer, an architect, or a webmaster.

The $99.95 X-Keys Stick USB is tethered to a 1.4m cable and is designed to fit on a standard-sized 104 keyboard or on most LCD monitors.
