There are plenty of mega USB hubs to go around. They come in all shapes and sizes, each with its own set of pros and cons. Of all the mega hubs we’ve seen, only the Sanwa’s round octopus hub with its circular shape gives every port plenty of room for those large USB dongles. Others are just fundamentally flawed with ports sitting too close together for anything other than nano-sized USB sticks.

Now, here’s another mega hub that seems to strike a balance between practicality and elegance. The Win-star 10-port hub resembles a transport vessel that you would usually find in Star Trek universe. Four ports are located on the left side; two are located on the right. From the looks of it, there should be enough spacing between the ports to accommodate the larger dongles. You can always try the three front-mounted jack. There’s also a top-mounted port for easy accessibility. Since the Win-star hub has to be laid flat on a desktop, you won’t encounter problems of the hub tipping over.
