Guard ID Vault - 2-Factor Authentication USB Key

  September 15th, 2006

DON'T MISS
If you are anything like me, you have gobs of passwords to remember. Your options are to write them all down (bad idea), memorize them all (might work), or use the same password everywhere (bad idea). However, there may be another option with the GuardID Vault. Basically, the $49.95 Guard ID Vault is a USB drive that stores your passwords and secures them with pass token authentication. For instance if you store your online banking passwords on the Guard ID and lose it, a would be thief would need your pin in addition to the device to access it, and vice versa. So long as you don't forget the PIN to access your pin numbers, you will be golden. There are also some U3 apps around that can protect your passwords as well.
