Brando Launches Solar USB Charger, World Gasps

Here in the south we get lots of sun, which leads to our least favorite thing in the summer, heat and humidity. Lots of sun is good though for outdoorsy gadget freaks that need to keep their gizmos charged while on the go. Brando has a new Universal Solar charger that charges its own internal battery via sol or it can be plugged into the AC for a charge. You can then choose one of the many adapters to charge your cell phone or MP3 player, including a USB charger. The output voltage is adjustable as well for use with a variety of gadgets including 4.5V, 5V, 6.3V, and 9V. Pricing is set at $69 and this may well be the most useful USB device Brando has ever offered. this is way more portable than Sanyo's solar charger.
