iPad owners, or more specifically iPad addicts, will be excited by the recent additions to Hanho's HyperDrive. The HyperDrive is an external media device that is able to share data with the iPad by way of the Apple Camera Connection Kit. As of yesterday, the entry price for this accessory was well over $300. The new versions of the HyperDrive don't sport the same screen and can even be purchased without a disk drive for as low as $99.
These new less frilly models are only missing the screen, otherwise they work exactly the same. Move files onto the drive when connected to your computer just like a normal
portable drive and then when done make the special connection to the iPad and your iPad will be able to see the connected storage. There's a minor limitation to be weary of, battery life. The built in internal battery are only good for about 40GBs of transfer/read from the HyperDrive after that you'll need to recharge it or connect it to a 5v power supply. Another major concern is that these devices might thwart the will of Jobs and be smote down in some future patch. Fearless users can order one right now from their
