Sanyo's Solar Charger for your USB Gadgets

If you are outdoors frequently with your gadgets that charge via USB Sanyo’s new N-SC1S Eneloop Solar Charger can keep your gadgets going, even if slowly going is all you get. This charger can work with Sanyo Eneloop devices as well as other USB charge equipped gear, presumably including the new USB rechargeable batteries as well. The run is that it will take about six days to fully charge your cell phone since the chargers USB Port produces a mere 500mA of DC 5V current. The time when you can quickly charge your USB gadgets and gizmo's by solar power isn’t quite here yet. Availability is expected in Japan starting November 21 at about $170.
