Sony Micro Vault Tiny USB Drive is... Tiny

  July 5th, 2006

DON'T MISS
Sony has a new member to its Micro vault family of flash based USB drives called the Tiny. Tiny is an understatement, looking at the image the drive is barely larger than the USB connector portion itself. Don't worry, tiny dimensions doesn't mean tiny storage capacities for the Sony drives.

How much smaller can flash based USB drives get? The Sony Micro Vault Tiny is the smallest USB drive I have seen to date. Storage capacities are from 256MB to 2GB and the Tiny is a USB 2.0 device. Sony says the Tiny 2GB drive can store up to 500 MP3 songs or five hours of MPEG4 video. The different colors of the Tiny indicates different storage capacities and color coordinated carry cases are included as well.
